There are some occasions when a night out on the town just doesn’t cut it. Sometimes you’re looking for a party instead of just a night out. There’s an easy way to get the feeling of being a VIP without throwing money at everyone you see, and that is bottle service. Instead of just bellying up to a bar, why not get your own table? Instead of fighting for the bartender’s attention, you can have other patrons fighting for yours. Here are some places to do it.

Stamford, CT 06901

84 Park has a DJ, a patio and a big dance floor. The fully stocked bar and happy hour prices alone would make it worth the trip to Stamford, but what really makes 84 Park stand out is the ultra sleek feel of the place. The minimalist design, the colorful drinks and the cool feel give this nightclub an exclusive, upscale vibe. It’s the kind of place that you think of when you imagine a happening night club. The bottle service is a true VIP experience: everyone in your group gets their cover charged waived, your table comes with a mixer and your bottle of choice. 84 Park even offers discounts like the Svedka Friday night special, with the service at only 150.

Sin City
195 Freight St.
Waterbury, CT 06708
(203) 597-9777

Sin City has a more underground feel to it than other Connecticut area nightclubs. This place isn’t trying to look sleek and modern, but the party atmosphere is definitely present here. The club has a huge dance floor that’s usually fairly dark in between bursts of strobe lights–this is a real party. Sin City has an extensive menu to choose from when it comes to bottle service, with more than 40 drinks to choose from. Bottle prices range from the high end for a $750 bottle of Ace of Spades champagne to some more affordable drinks like $175 Jose Cuervo or Three Olives bottles. The exclusive bottle service is on top of the added bonus of enjoying the club’s resident DJ, who keeps the place hopping all night. Check out the Friday blast off, where ladies get in for free before 11 p.m.

Foxwoods has more than its fair share of perks, but to have that true, VIP experience, look no further than Shrine. For those with more refined tastes, this is the spot to reserve bottle service. In addition to the usual perks of table service, guests can even choose a specific room or area to reserve, including one alcove of the nightclub aptly named “Big Bed.” VIPs have the added luxury of personal servers and a premium bottle selection. Shrine also has a great menu designed by Executive Chef, Kevin Long. Come for the unlimited sushi on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights.

Uncasville, CT 06382

Mohegan Sun’s night club, Ultra 88, is all about the finer side of nightlife. A great night out doesn’t have to involve searching for drink specials and driving around looking for the best places to go. Instead, head to the casino for a good time. Then, when you want to wind down instead of shouldering your way through a bunch of other bar patrons, get yourself a table and some VIP treatment at Ultra 88. What makes this casino nightclub stand above the rest is its bottle service, which includes two LCD screens so you can keep that winning streak going, and a security guard to keep the peace. The atmosphere is classy, so it’s also a great place to go if you feel like dressing up, gambling and having a good time.

Wicked Wolf
144 temple street
New Haven, CT 06510
(203) 752-0450

Bottle service usually takes place in a posh atmosphere with club music, dancing and cocktails. If you’re in the mood for a more laid back scene away from the crowds and noise of the usual nightclub vibe, try the Wicked Wolf in New Haven. The bar has great pub food like nachos and wings, and instead of drink specials, Wicked Wolf hosts events every week, making this bar a party every time you go in. It’s in downtown New Haven, so it’s right in the middle of a great bar and restaurant scene. Plus, you can find live music and the kind of casual atmosphere you want when going to a bar, instead of a club. This is a great spot for bottle service, providing the best of the bar scene while skipping over the part that has you waiting for the bartender to notice you over the noise of the other guests.
