(CBS Connecticut) — A member of the Connecticut State Police is charged with threatening a woman on I-395 northbound in Montville Friday night.

David Greene faces one count of first degree threatening.  He was arrested Saturday, after troopers went to Green’s North Stonington home for a woman who said she was threatened by Greene.

State Police say the 43-year-old has been on the force for 18-years.  He is assigned to Troop-E in Montville.

Greene is currently suspended.  An internal affairs investigation will be conducted.
