To open yesterday’s session of the DNC, Debbie Wasserman Schultz was replaced by Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlins-Blake.
The move was appropriate, since the theme of the convention will be “Make America Like Cuba Again”.
“Free” healthcare, “Free” college, “Free” housing, not to mention streets full of 50’s vintage autos.
Well..not so much the autos. After all, they’d never pass emission tests.
The reason I mention that is that Her Honor just returned from a fact-finding tour of the island.
The purpose of the trip was “to share best practices for providing city services in education, healthcare, infrastructure, and transportation.”
Needless to say Mayor Rawlins- Blake was exposed to limitless “best practices”.
I have seen the future and it works!
For example, here’s Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.
Here’s what it could look like after decades of “progressive” policies.
And what’s up with “Charm City’s” primitive medical infrastructure?
I mean, John’s Hopkins? Please.
Meet the bright future that lies ahead, Comrades!
But should you maintain party loyalty, you’ll eventually earn a spot in the nomenklatura, which will most certainly improve your situation.
Finally, mass transit.- and we’ll be using it, since gasoline- fueled automobiles will be banned to save the earth, and electric cars will be too expensive for the average bear.
Let’s hope the Mayor has learned her lesson well.
