(BRISTOL,Conn./CBS Connecticut)  –   Bristol Police are  investigating two slashing incidents which occurred  12 hours apart.Just after 3:30 Saturday afternoon a 57 year old man says he was robbed at knife point by two men at the Mr.Bubbles Car Wash on East Main Street in the Forestville section. He suffered a laceration to his left forearm in a  struggle  with the  assailants and   was taken to Bristol Hospital for treatment , including stitches.

The  victim said  the suspects  were both white men  about 6 feet tall.They fled with the contents of the man’s wallet,personal papers and an undetermined amount of cash.

Early Sunday morning  two men,  ages 31 and 20  suffered lacerations.Police  responded to the  Bristol Hospital   Emergency Room shortly after 3:30.The  31 year old refused treatment and   had left before officers arrived.The 20 year old said  he and the other man were in a parking lot at an apartment complex at Surrey Drive and Bianca Road,there was a disturbance  with a car load of people  and they were slashed by an African-American man  with what was believed to be a box cutter.

Police  say the  victim gave a very vague description of the altercation and where it took place.Officers were unable to find any witnesses. The incident remains under investigation.
