Here’s what to expect this morning with Ray Dunaway.

7:20- David Lightman is here to discuss the minimum wage.  The Tea Party in the Senate is supposed to take a big test vote on minimum wage. GOP primaries will take place next month where Tea Party candidates will face establishment folks… starting in NC, then Ga., Ky., Idaho and Miss.

8:20-Senator Welch represents the towns of Bristol, Harwinton, Plainville, Plymouth and Thomaston.  He is in favor of a measure aimed at better protecting electricity consumers from future spikes in their rates and clearing up confusion in the system.The proposal empowers consumers in several ways, and Welch explains.

8:50- Arielle Levin Becker, covers health care for The Connecticut Mirror, and will be on the air.  The state House has given final approval to a controversial bill that would give nurse practitioners more independence, a measure that both supporters and opponents say could have a major effect on health care in Connecticut. Gov. Dannel P. Malloy, whose administration proposed the measure, is expected to sign it.
