NORWALK, Conn. (AP) _ Connecticut state police say a 28-year-old Bridgeport woman was the person killed in a crash that shut down Interstate 95 southbound in Norwalk for more than three hours and backed up traffic for miles.

Troopers say Liset Santos was killed late Tuesday morning after losing control of her car while merging onto I-95 southbound from Route 7. Police say her car spun out, hit an SUV and was struck by a tractor-trailer that pushed it a few hundred feet down the highway.

The drivers of the SUV and tractor-trailer weren’t injured.

The accident remains under investigation.
