If you are looking for a fun place to catch a UConn game (or any other kind of game) then you don’t have to go far.  There are lots of great sports bars in the Hartford area where you can go for a drink, a bite and to cheer on your favorite team.

Damon’s Tavern
310 Prospect Avenue
Hartford, CT 06106

If you haven’t been to Damon’s Tavern you have to check it out.  It is an upscale sports bar with a great atmosphere.  You’ll find 43 HD TVs so you won’t miss the game and they have over 24 beers on tap.  The food is amazing whether you are looking for bar food (highly recommend the pulled pork sliders) or a more refined meal (like the Texas Grilled Salmon) you will not be dissapointed.  There’s even a kids menu which makes this a great place to go with either the family or a night out with friends.  When the weather gets warm they have an outside patio too.
