Bridgeport Firefighters Train On Ice Rescues

Bridgeport firefighters conducted cold water rescue training this week at Bunnels Pond.  Firefighters in cold-water suits took turns pulling one another from fire  inch ice.  
One technique used an ice sled and the other a foam floation ring to pull the "victim"  from the 33-degree water.
