HARTFORD, Connecticut (CBS Connecticut) — Hartford Police say a man is dead following a shooting in the capital city Sunday afternoon.
Hartford Police Department Major Crimes Detectives were called to the scene of the shooting near 97 Van Block Ave. around 12:15 p.m.
Police, Monday, identified the victim as 55-year-old Tyrone Mercer of Stonington Street in Hartford.
The incident remains under investigation.
