(Waterbury, CONN. / CBS Connecticut) — Two people were killed, and three others injured in a car crash in Waterbury Tuesday evening.
It happened around 7:15 p.m. at the intersection of Chase Avenue and Homer Street. The two who died were each riding in separate vehicles. The three who were injured sustained non life-threatening injuries.
Waterbury police said the road was still closed at 11:30 p.m. as they continued to investigate, but would reopen shortly.
It’s unclear what caused the crash.
