Pedestrian Struck, Killed In Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) – Wallingford police say sun glare may have been a factor in a deadly car-verses-pedestrian crash on Quinnipiac Street Monday morning.

Sixty-five-year-old Mary Stabile was hit around 6:45 a.m., as she crossed the street and was later pronounced dead at Yale-New Haven Hospital, said police.

Police say the driver of the car remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
