(Old Saybrook, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – Police in Old Saybrook have released the name of a woman who was killed in a fiery crash in town late Friday night.

Police say 22-year-old Heather Gleason was from Ivoryton.

Just after 10:30 p.m., police say Gleason’s car hit a tree before catching fire at the intersection of Middlesex Turnpike and Bokum Road in town.

Two officers were treated and released from a local hospital in an attempt to save Gleason.

Detectives say they’re still trying to determine what caused the accident.
