Police Release ID Man Suspect Shot At Foxwoods

(Ledyard, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – State Police have released the name of the man who was shot by Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Police and fell from a 4th floor garage at Foxwoods Resort CasinoTuesday.

The man has been identified as 23-year-old Michael Goodale of Groton City.

Police say he pointed a gun at officers as they attempted to serve him with an active arrest warrant.

Police say they then opened fire on Goodale as they attempted to take him into custody.

State Police are continuing their investigation.
