WINDHAM, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) – State police say paintings, antique clocks and computers were among the items stolen during a recent burglary at a tech company in North Windham.

The burglary at Progressive Data Systems on Club Road was reported Monday, said troopers.

Thieves made off with paintings by artist Christian Seidler, described as oil on canvass composed of thousands of dabs of paint creating a textured effect. Most of the paintings are large– measuring 30″ by 44″– and easily recognizable, said police.

Anyone with information on the case is urged to call State Police Troop K in Colchester at 860-465-5400 or the anonymous tips line at 860-465-5469. Information can also be sent by text message by texting TIP711 to 274637.
