(West Haven, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – Two suspects are being held after West Haven police say they robbed a man at gunpoint outside a city diner late Tuesday night.

Just after 11:00 p.m, police responded the Duchess Diner on York Street.

A man told officers he was approached by two other men and robbed of his wallet and cell phone.

The suspects are identified as 21-year-old Kenzell Goodman and 20-year-old Brandon Walker, both of New Haven.

They fled in a vehicle that was later was spotted at a Valero’s gas station.

After a pursuit near the Orange town line, the vehicle was later located by New Haven police.

Elm City police attempted to pull over the suspect vehicle, which officers say crashed into on of their cruisers.  The two suspects were later arrested.

West Haven police reviewed video from the service statiuon and say the victim’s credit card was used at the service station.  They were also able to cull a fingerprint from one of the suspects.

Both are now being charged with robbery, larceny, and interfering with police.

Bond was set at $100,000 apiece.
