Motorcyclist Killed After Colliding With Car

WEST HAVEN, Conn. (AP) — Police say a Connecticut motorcyclist has died following a crash over the weekend.

Investigators say 60-year-old Leonard Nelson was traveling in West Haven on Saturday afternoon when his motorcycle collided with a car.

The Middletown resident was taken to an area hospital with critical injuries. He was later pronounced dead.

The driver of the car was also taken to a hospital. That driver’s condition wasn’t immediately known. Police have not released the driver’s name.
