(Hartford, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – Hartford police say they have made several arrests and broken up a large scale drug operation.
They say around 4:30 Wednesday afternoon, detectives with the vice and narcotics division launched an undercover operation near 139 Babcock Street.
They were watching out for drug buyers and sellers in the vicinity of that address, police said.
Four arrests were made. The suspects, 22-year-old Raymond Sanders of Hartford, 23-year-old Reinardo Otero of New Britain, 34-year-old Jahaira Martinez of Hartford, and 50-year-old Robin Day of Plantsville are all facing various possession charges.
In addition, police say the seized 458 bags of heroin valued at over $31,000.
