Bristol Police Arrest Assault Suspect

BRISTOL, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) _ Bristol Police have arrested a city man for a July 22 assault.

Nikolas Avallone, 23, of 60 Mills St., is charged with first-degree assault, accused of viciously beating a 50-year-old man outside K & S Liquors at 191 Park St. July 22 around 8:06 p.m.

The victim suffered multiple facial fractures and a broken upper jaw and nose.

Avallone was arrested coming out of a School Street apartment around 9:21 p.m. Tuesday.

He’s being held on $200,000 bond and is due in Bristol Superior Court Wednesday.
