Hartford Teens Arrested In West Hartford Burglaries

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) _ A pair of Hartford men are under arrest for two West Hartford home burglaries Monday afternoon.

Police were called to 214 Warrenton Ave. around noon Monday. A homeowner there had returned home to find the two men inside. They quickly fled on bikes, but were captured a short time later by West Hartford and Hartford police in the area of Capitol and Sisson avenues.

Joseph Bultran-Romero, 18, and Juan Baez, 18, are charged with multiple offenses including burglary, larceny and interfering.

It was determined upon their arrest they were responsible for another burglary on Concord Street. No items were stolen from the Warrenton home, but electronics, jewelry, the two bikes and other items were recovered from the Concord Street home.

A third burglary took place on North Quaker, but it’s not clear if it’s related.
