Two Arrested On Animal Cruelty Charges

(CBS Connecticut) — New Britain Police are caring for a dog seized from a yard on South Street last month after anonymous complaints of abuse.  Police say when the Animal Control Officer arrived in response to a complaint,  he found the dog needed immediate medical attention,  had extensive skin infections, was malnourished and dehydrated.

Police recently arrested 43-year-old Syra Santana and 42-year-old Wilfredo Andino, both of 541 South Street on animal cruelty charges.
