Woman To Be Arraigned On Teen Beer Pong Charge

FAIRFIELD, Conn. (AP) — A Fairfield woman is facing her first court appearance since being accused of setting up a beer pong drinking game for teenagers at a party at her home this month.

Forty-one-year-old Maria Flores is scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Bridgeport Superior Court. She’s charged with permitting minors to possess alcohol and breach of peace.

Police say a teenager at the July 10 party was treated for intoxication at a hospital. Authorities say other teens were found playing beer pong in Flores’ backyard.

Police say Flores admitted setting up the game.

Flores is free on a promise to appear in court. A phone listing for her was not in service. It’s not clear if she has a lawyer.
