Four Arrests In New London

NEW LONDON, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) _ New London police made four arrests during a weapons/large crowd call Friday evening.

Police were called to the area of 195 Colman St. around 6:03 p.m. and found a large crowd of about 15 men with one of them brandishing a hand gun.

After a brief chase, the man brandishing the gun was arrested. Police recovered a facsimile firearm in the near vicinity during the chase.

Michael Escobales, 19, of New London, was charged with carrying a dangerous weapon, second-degree criminal trespass and possession of hallucinogenic marijuana.

Isaac Cabanas, 18, of New London, was charged with two counts possession of narcotics.

Jesse Beck, 19, of Voluntown, was charged with carrying a dangerous weapon (brass knuckles located in vehicle).

Shakim Curry, 24, of New London, was charged with interfering with police.
