HARTFORD, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) – Hartford firefighters battled an early morning blaze at 889 Park Street on the corner of Zion Street in the Frog Hollow section of the city.

The blaze broke out just after four this morning.

The four-story brick building is home to Santiago’s Market on the ground floor and three floors of apartments.

Dana Gonzalez, 38, lives three doors down from the scene.

She said she took her friend, her friend’s family, and another family to her home.

No injuries were reported.

The building sustained extensive damage with flames burning up through the roof.

The displaced were taken to the nearby Pope Park Recreational Center.

No word yet on a cause.
