Heroin Bust In South Windsor

SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) _ The East Central Narcotics Task Force made a heroin bust at a Dunkin’ Donuts parking lot in South Windsor Wednesday.

It happened at 601 John Fitch Blvd. Arrested are Abdullah Melhem, 21, who’s homeless, and Ammad Khan, 20.

Seized in the bust were 201 wax baggies of heroin.

Melhem is charged with sale of narcotics, possession of narcotics, interfering with police and tempering with evidence, with bond set at $200,000.

Khan is charged with conspiracy to possess narcotics and conspiracy to sell narcotics and held on $100,000 bond.

The car was searched and 7 hydromorphone pills were as was the 2011 Honda Civic.

Police are applying for four separate arrest warrants for both men, charging them with two counts each of sale of narcotics and possession of narcotics.
