A Tim Tebow New England Patriots jersey might be seen as a collector’s item in some circles. . . or as a dust-gathering reminder of the Heisman Trophy winner’s less-than-three-month preseason tenure with the team.  Now the Patriots are giving fans a way to support players like Tebow who leave within a year of the sale of their jersey

CBS Boston is reporting on an option for Patriots fans who might be hesitant to spend $150 or more on a player’s jersey,  fearing the player might leave the team soon.  Now the Patriots’ website “jersey guarantee” says jersey buyers can get a “jersey rebate,”  a 25% discount on a new jersey . ( And they keep the jersey of the departed player, )
