Bank Robbed In New Haven

(New Haven, Conn./CBS Connecticut) –  New Haven police are looking for a bank robbery suspect.

They say around 2:20 p.m. on Sunday, a lone male suspect entered the TD Bank on Foxon Boulevard.

The suspect reached under a glass partition and snatched a small amount of cash that was being counted by a teller.

The robber was followed out of the bank by a customer, who ultimately lost sight of him.

Police say the suspect got away in a white Nisssan Maxima driven by another person.

In surveilance footage released by police, the suspect appears to be a white male dressed in a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue shorts, and white sneakers.

A weapon was implied but none was displayed.
