3:35-Tom Fletcher, AFP (Americans for Prosperity ) legislative assistant is here to discuss the Senate’s upcoming vote on a minimum wage increase. Despite economists around the country – including former advisers from the Obama administration – saying a minimum wage increase is bad economic policy, the Senate could vote as soon as tomorrow on the matter. The Congressional Budget Office issued a report on the increase that concluded it would cost the economy 500,000 jobs and increase pressure on employers to cut hours and workers. AFP plans to key vote the legislation.
4:20-Mark Lauretti, Shelton Mayor is here. Lauretti is seeking the GOP nomination for governor in this year’s election. He will explain why, and how he stands apart from his fellow candidates.
