Minor Flooding Forecast Starting Sunday

(CBS Connecticut) — The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning along parts of the Connecticut River in Connecticut,  starting Sunday morning.  As of 6:30 p.m. Saturday,  the river state in Hartford was at 15 feet,  one foot below flood stage,   with a forecast to rise above flood stage by late Sunday morning and to near 17-point-2 feet by late Tuesday morning.

Expect lowland flooding from Hartford through Wethersfield and Glastonbury,   and downstream through Cromwell, Middletown and Portland.
