(Windsor, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – A man was injured after police in Windsor say he was assaulted by a pair of unknown assailants overnight.
A little after two a.m., officers responded to several 911 calls reporting shots fired in 200 block of Conestoga Street.
Upon arrival, they found a man suffering fro non life-threatening injuries.
It was during the alleged assault, police say, that the shots were fired.
No one else was injured.
The victim is being treated at a local hospital.
The suspects are described as two black males clad in dark clothing.
They reportedly took off in a dark colored SUV.
