(Hartford, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – The budget process is about to begin in Connecticut’s capitol city.
Hartford Mayor Pedro Segarra has announced the schedule of dates for the planning and ultimate adoption of the FY 2015 budget.
It starts Monday from City Hall when the mayor delivers his state of the city address.
Going forward, there will be a number of budget request reviews with department heads.
Oher information sessions are planned prior to Segarra submitting a recommended budget to the City Council April 21.
There will also be a public hearing and deliberations before the council adopts the budget may 31.
