HPD Make Arrests In 2009 Double Murder

HARTFORD (CBS Connecticut) _ Hartford police has arrested three gang members for a double murder in the early morning hours of Oct. 14, 2009.

Hartford police say Angel Carrasquillo, 31, Josue Burgos, 34, and Luis Quintero, 31, have each been charged with two counts murder and one count conspiracy to commit murder for the fatal shootings of Luis Rodriguez and Leida Franqui around 2:11 a.m. in 2009 in the area of 44 Whitmore Street.

The three arrested are all known SOLIDO gang members.

Also arrested was Carrasquillo’s girlfriend, Nicole Rodrick, of East Hartford, charged with hindering prosecution. She was arrested Friday, her bond set at $250,000. Quintero was also arrested Friday.

Carrasquillo and Burgos are already imprisoned on other charges. Bond for each man charged in the murders was set at $1 million.
