HARTFORD (CT Connecticut) -- The Federal Aviation Administration says it is aware of a report of use of a drone at a fatal crash scene in Hartford last weekend.  FOX CT is reporting a drone was used above an accident near Main and Capen Streets last weekend.

WFSB Television issued a statement that a temporary, on-call employee of the television station who was not on assignment at the time is the person identified as operating the drone.  Vice President and General Manager Klarn DePalma’s statement points out that the station does not own or use drones.

23-year-old Darien Hodges of Hartford was a passenger in the front seat of a car which went out of control and hit a building.  The driver and another passenger were injured.
