Audit Finds Problems At Hartford City Hall

HARTFORD, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) _ Problems at city hall in Hartford. An audit has revealed the miss-use of $1.6 million by Mayor Pedro Segarra and other city leaders.

The major concern is the use of nearly one million dollars to pay employees salaries and in effect, balance the budget, when the bond money was marked to go toward capitol improvement projects.

The remainder of the questionable funds went to capitol improvement costs when they may have been intended for operating expenses.
