Man Charged With Threatening To Blow Up Bristol City Hall
A man whom police say threatened to blow up Bristol City Hall on Monday is now facing charges.
They say 51-year-old Robert Daprile of Stamford became upset because a lien had been placed on property he owns on Rockwell Avenue.
Police say the lien was the result of blight issues on the property.
Daprile allegedly said he would place a bomb in City Hall and blow up the building.
He was subsequently arrested and processed in Bristol on charges of threatening and breach of peace.
Daprile is being held on $40,000 bond.
