Second Arrest in Cold Case Homicide

Bridgeport Police have  arrested a second man in connection with  a 2007  homicide.29 year old Garrett Bostick of Bridgeport was arrested when he arrived for his appointment with his parole officer Tuesday.

Bostick is charged with Murder  and Conspiracy to Commit Murder in the shooting death of  Juan Marcado at the Charles F. Greene  Homes housing complex. Marcado was shot February  27,2007 and died  in April of that year  from complications from the shooting.In an autopsy, two slugs , which previously could not be removed  were recovered and were linked to  a  weapon seized at the  complex  the day after the shooting.

Police believe Marcado was lured into the building and shot in the back.

Last week, Bostick’s alleged accomplice and alleged shooter ,29 year old Nirone Hutton was arrsted on charges of Murder,Criminal Possession of a Firearm by a Felon  and carrying a Pistol Without  Permit.

Bostick is being held in lieu of $250,000 bond and Hutton on $750,000 bond.
