Here is what you can expect this morning with Ray Dunaway for Veteran’s Day, November 11th.

6:20- Jill Schlesinger, CFP® CBS News Business Analyst is on to talk about Money Week Ahead 11-03-13: Strong jobs report before Yellen Hearing.

7:20- On Thursday, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced a preliminary ban on trans fats. This is news to many folks – not because they were surprised by the ban, but because they thought trans fats (“partially hydrogenated oil” on food labels) had all but disappeared from restaurant kitchens and grocery shelves.  Sue Gebo will be on the line to discuss this with Ray.

Sue serves as assistant professor in residence for the UConn Medical School as faculty for the UConn-St. Francis Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program, where she provides nutrition training to family medicine physicians as well as to medical students.   She is also adjunct faculty at St. Joseph College, where she teaches future dietitians, nurses, and teachers as well as nutrition graduate students.  Since opening her private practice in 1983, Sue has helped thousands of people take control of their diets.

7:50- Dale Sutcliffe, Founder, vetfriends.com speaks about his website VetFriends.com – the largest Web site reuniting U.S. military veterans – has launched a nationwide online database of U.S. veteran and military discounts at: http://www.vetfriends.com/veteran-discount-center/ – as part of the 13th annual “Honor & Thanks” Veterans Day campaign. The Veterans Discount Center provides an ideal platform for companies to give back and thank our U.S. military veterans by posting their special discounts on the network.

8:20-Avik Roy, Senior Fellow at the Manhattan Institute. Medicare / Medicaid, Consumer-Driven Health Care, Affordable Care Act. talks with Ray about access to the Affordable Care Act website, which could take another six months to straighten out, according to Roy, a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute and a contributor to Forbes.com.

8:50- Jim Barry- Consumer Electronics Association’s (CEA) Digital Answer Man calls in.   Each year the CEA puts out its annual Holiday Wish list, highlighting the tech products consumers most want this holiday season.
