Search For Missing Middletown Man

Middletown police are searching for a man they say went missing over three weeks ago.

They are searching for 65-year-old David Godwin, Sr.

He was last seen October 13 at the Passport Inn on South Main Street.

Investigators say it’s believed Godwin took a train from Old Saybrook to New York’s Penn Station, which arrived October 14.

The last communication anyone had with him was October 16.

There is concern because Godwin suffers from memory loss.

Godwin is white, stands five-feet-nine, and weighs 200 pounds.

He has gray hair, brown eyes and wears thick eyeglasses.  It’s not know what Godwin was wearing at the time of his disappearance.

Anyone with information on David Godwin, Sr.’s whereabouts is asked to call Middletown detectives at (860) 638-4000 or (860) 638-4149.
