Disabled Man Tied With Garden Hose In Home Invasion

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) _ New Haven police are looking for two men who reportedly tied up a disabled man with a garden hose and stole his money and car during a home invasion.

Authorities say the 39-year-old victim was robbed Tuesday night. Police say two suspects armed with handguns pushed the man inside his apartment after he opened the door and they spent the next hour ransacking the home.

Officials say the robbers demanded cash, forced the victim to the floor, assaulted him and demanded he give them his medications. The victim said he was forced to undress, tied up with a hose and barricaded in a bathroom.

Police say the suspects fled with cash, electronics and the victim’s 1999 Buick Park Avenue.
