The brass sections of the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the St. Louis Symphony took to their instruments for some friendly rivalry in a video to support the Boston Red Sox and St. Louis Cardinals in the 2013 World Series, which kicks off today at 8 p.m. in Fenway Park in Boston. The musicians from the BSO and SLSO trash talk each other’s baseball teams and follow up with an arrangement of “Anything You Can Do” and “Take Me Out to the Ballgame.” BSO Music Director Laureate Seiji Ozawa, a Red Sox devotee, joined the BSO brass section to support the Red Sox and lead the BSO arrangement from the roof of Symphony Hall.
