Oil Spill At Ferry Terminal

Cross Sound ferry service is continuing with another vessel after the tank on the SeaJet I was accidentally over-filled by the fuel company in New London earlier today.  The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection says the release of fuel into the Thames River is put at about 350 gallons.  The ferry company deployed containment booms to stop the spread of the fuel and hired an environmental contractor to handle cleanup.
