Two men are facing multiple drug and weapons charges in Norwich.

Police were called just after 3:30 this morning to a disturbance involving someone armed with a handgun at an apartment on Convent Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers say they encountered a large party.

Their initial investigation found two handguns, along with various amounts of narcotics within the apartment.

Thirty-eight-year-old Phillip Anderson faces a litany of charges, including possession of both cocaine and marijuana, criminal possession of a pistol, threatening, and operating a drug factory.  His bond is $300,000.

Meantime, 34-year-old Darrio Anderson also faces numerous drug and weapons charges and is being held on $150,000.

Officers seized a loaded 9-milimeter semi-automatic pistol with an altered serial number, a Smith and Wesson revolver, powder and crack cocaine, marijuana, and cash.

Both andersons are due in court Monday.
