The Red Sox  will pay tribute to Carl Yastrzemski this month when they unveil a statue of the legendary left fielder.

The statue, the third the Red Sox have created, will stand outside the Gate B entrance between the Ted Williams statue and “The Teammates” statue, depicting Dom DiMaggio, Johnny Pesky, Bobby Doerr, and Williams.

The ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, September 22, at 11 a.m., prior to the 1:35 p.m. game against the Toronto Blue Jays.  Yastrzemski is scheduled to throw out the ceremonial first pitch before the game.
