Development Agency Reaches Out To Small Businesses
HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) _ Connecticut’s economic development agency is offering small businesses an opportunity to navigate through various state assistance programs.
The Department of Economic and Community Development has scheduled eight presentations beginning Thursday through Oct. 18 introducing small business owners and others to the state’s small business assistance programs.
The programs include the state’s Small Business Express, Subsidized Training and Employment and Job Expansion Tax Credit programs.
The agency’s commissioner, Catherine Smith, says the presentations are intended to make it a little easier for local business people to learn about state programs and to meet with members of our economic development staff.
