Suspect Charged In Hartford Murder

A twenty-year-old Hartford man is held in lieu of a million dollars bond, charged with murder and weapons charges in a fatal shooting in May.  Police say Javar Preston of Bloomfield was shot as he walked near the intersection of Blue Hills Avenue and West Euclid the evening of May 13,  then shot several more times in the head and torso from a closer distance.

Police Tuesday charged Omar Flinch with the crime.
