Two Arrested After Cigarette Delivery Heist

Bristol police say two suspects were taken into custody after they stole about$5,000 worth of cigarettes from a truck unloading at a convenience store on Stafford Avenue this morning.

The truck driver told police he was able to get the license plate number of the vehicle before they tried to run him down in the parking lot.  He was not injured in the attempt at about 9:30 this morning.

Manchester police stopped the vehicle on Interstate 84 a short time later and took the two suspects into custody before turning them over to Bristol police.
