Most Swimming Areas Open In Connecticut

It hasn’t been anywhere near beach weather the last few days but the state says all but one of its swimming areas are open.

The lone exception is Rocky Neck State Park.

While the park itself is open, the east end of the beach is off limits.

The water was resampled today to check bacteria levels.

Officials with the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection say those results should be in Wednesday.
