Two Arrests in Bridgeport House Fire

Two juveniles  have been arrested in connection with a Wednesday fire which caused extensive damage to a  Poplar Street home in Bridgeport.

The front of the house at 181 Poplar Street was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.

Police say the boys admitted starting the fire used  newspaper and a  lighter.They were also identified as  those who  started numerous small fires in the Poplar Street area.

It is not believed  the juveniles intended to burn down the house.Both were issued summons for reckless burning  and released  to their parents.
