Police in New London are charging a man in a shooting incident from Tuesday.

It was after 3:30 when a report came in of shots fired on Williams Street involving two males.

A .45-caliber shell casing was found at the scene.

After an investigation, they picked up 36-year-old Jamel McIntosh of Norwich.  He’d been wearing an ankle monitor and officers had tracked him down to an address in New London.

McIntosh faces a litany of charges, including criminal attempt at assault, criminal possession of a firearm, and reckless endangerment.

He’s being held on $150,000.
