MILFORD, Conn. (AP) _ Milford police have arrested a volunteer for a group that advises the city on technology matters on charges he stole 50 iMac computers.

The New Haven Register reports that Brent Johnson, a volunteer at the Milford Technology Advisory Council, is accused of taking the computers from a storage facility and trying to sell them.

Police said Monday the 24-year-old Johnson is charged with larceny in connection with the alleged incident in August.

Police say Johnson turned himself in on Saturday and was released on a $5,000 bond.

It wasn’t known Monday if Johnson is represented by a lawyer. He did not immediately return a call to a phone number listed in his name.
