Relief organizations are shifting into high gear to offer whatever assistance they can in wake of the devestating Oklahoma tornado.
Stamford-based Americares is one of them.

Americares senior vice president for emergency response Kate Sears says they respond to dozens of emergencies foreign and domestic yearly.
Sears says concern in these first hours after the storm is getting medicine to those who need it. From there, they’ll determine when to ship other essentials like food, water, and hygiene kits.
